    I can recommend Ngata.
    Far from settlements and no human noises at night. Only jackal cry, impala snorts, lion roar far away, etc.

    I have recently changed my mind a bit about limiting Eskom by using the batteries instead.
    - Eskom draw during night hours are very low and affordable
    - I have installed a timer to switch Eskom off...

    I have done vanZyls Pass on a bike (GSA) and will not recommend you take it on solo. Not even being experienced.

    EDIT: Also take a sat phone along. Solo in Africa is for wise people.

    AFAIK it was not kosher to cross the pan as the tracks will never disappear and scar the pan forever. Only to use recognized tracks, T4A or not.

    Or am I wrong?

    Fluffy is correct.

    Yamaha chargers are 2 wire, + & -.

    I adapted the plugs on the cart & charger with available adaptors. Even BH will do.
