    I can reiterate that auto box on Triton is silky smooth - even at 260k km, you will have to concentrate very hard to notice gear shifts. BUT When you put foot down from dead stop, 1 sec of shudder....

    Have you you gone through the network of vacuum pipes to check connections and a possible leak? I don't know if a squirt with soapy water would point to a leak, since it is vacuum? Experts...

    I rather play safe, also take my NL battery box out of the back of the bakkie, then open the lid, fitted butterfly nuts, loosen easily and connect quality trickle charger directly to deep cycle...
