    I dont agree, if you have crap in the bottom of the sump then you have bigger problems than just an oil change. Also the oil pickup strainer and oil filter is there to catch that anyway.

    name brand oils only, anything from shell, mobil, fuchs, liqui moly etc. Check in your service book for the oil spec and make sure whatever you buy conforms to that.

    problem is once you remove the valve spring the valve will drop into the piston.... There are a few tricks however.

    one I have used with success is to remove camshaft(s) then shove a pantyhose...

    Poly V belt is around 100k km IIRC, I did the one on the Treg at 160k km for the first time. Beyond that no real maintenance on the V6, at around 200-250k km you will possibly need to to look at...

    I do not agree with point 1, I'm battling to finds stats so not sure how you arrive at the fact that the fuel levy is insufficient to maintain roads?

    Point 2 is irrelevant to the current debate...

    None of the above for me.

    This is nothing more than double taxation as I'm already paying to use these road via the fuel levy.

    E Tolls is just another form of taxation and we are so far along...
