Re: Hiace crew pick up 4x4

It turns out it is a 2.4 non turbo, 2L engine. Manual , 4x4 (tansfer cae, Low /Hgh range).

Slow but steady, manual injector pump, no electronics...just like I like them. :)

Does anyone know what engine this Hiace is likely to have ? It's 4x4 and has low range, apparently.

I can't find that much information on the net .

    Cheers

If they don't make a low tech/spec one for your everyday farming use , then you should look at at a 70s LC.

Discovery 4 Re: Is it my fault- Discovery 4 in hospital.

It's true this. A dusty engine bay shows leaks straight away.

But oily deposits in my opinion should be cleaned up asap, as they can mask leaks. You don't need water , just a cloth/waster.
