    I was in a similar situation some years ago.
    For the kids comfort (and wanting them to be happy and safe while spending hours travelling) I chose the double cab. I do not regret the decision.

    Going in for the inspection on Thursday. Evidently the recall relates to "rattling of the towbar". If this is present they put in some shims.

    2 keys that fold into the remote
    1 "wet" key ie no remote and you can take it with you when you go swimming / surfing etc
