Re: Ek tune jou my bru. It is dangerous!

    Andrew didn't start the thread about a D4D V8
The D4D V8 was introduced in 2007 - just because it took TSA yonks to introduce it locally, does not mean it is a modern engine

Add to this that Dawie honestly BELIEVES that it is making at least 20% more power and torque - all because it sounds ... LEKKER!!!

    Re: "Flaking" Ford Ranger Tyres

It seems to be more pronounced along the outside of the tyre. It could be a combination of incorrect camber and toe-in settings if it is on the front tyres only.

    Re: "Flaking" Ford Ranger Tyres

This is the most probable cause - with power steering, one tends to turn the wheels without the vehicle moving, causing scrubbing on the road surface. You do not specify if you do a lot of dirt road...

Sou dit nie beter gewerk het as die recovery in 'n regut lyn gedoen was nie - dan het die Broozer heel waarskynlilk met die eerste probeerslag geslaag.

The Rochester monojet carb on the 4100 Chevy motors is very simple - basically a tin can with a jet. ;D

Re: So Today I broke down

Start off by making sure there is spark at the plugs. It could be as simple as a stuffed coil lead. Fuel should be easy to check - petrol in the filter? And in the carb?

    Good luck and please keep...

    Re: X-Class prices

I would reckon the typical buyer will be considering an Amarok, rather than one of the above. Once again, how do the prices compare?

Does the Merc run Datsun engines, or is it a Merc motor?
