    Re: Nissan Xtrail advice needed

Research the diesel engines because I know some of them are hellish expensive repair but are otherwise great when running.

Re: Cost of Cape to Cairo

What vehicle that's up to doing that trip and on what I am assuming are often not the best roads will give a 13km/L fuel economy?

Re: Cost of owning a 4x4 that cost less than R40K

Spares look pretty cheap, another joy of older vehicles.

That model is a good looking vehicle, they have a nice stance.

What mileage did it have and what condition was it in?

    Re: DSG gearbox

Modern CVTs seem pretty bullet proof, they have hydraulic torque converters and no clutch packs, if the oil is changed regularly which is vital they don't seem to give issues.

    In my opinion...

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

The production(or near enough) version looks very good, exactly what I'd want in a vehicle, does not look disposable and very functional.

Good video, probably been posted already:...

    Re: Wrangler 2.8 CRD dead

Have you checked all the earth wires?

Probably not it but something always to make sure is 100% if it hasn't already been checked, especially with seemly random issue like yours.

    Re: KB320 Parts needed...

    How old is the vehicle?

Just about all vehicles from the last 15yrs or so have keys with an immobilizer chip that communicates with the ECU to switch on.
