    Today's smart phones are perfectly capable of doing very good scans of pictures. You do not even need a scanner any more.

    No not that. Look at the first pic - the Southern double collared does not have the long center tail feathers. the Malachite does have the yellow tufts - just not always visible.

    I guess it depends on how you use it. If it is for overland travelling camping etc with lots of sand riding it should be fine.
    Of course you cannot use it as a hard core 4x4 doing grade 5 trails and...

    I think it should be OK for some years even on bad roads. Bad roads are heavy on Shocks and suspension no matter what you drive.
    I also have a Land Cruiser 76 but I dont want to sleep in a RTT any...

    Juat had to suffer through it.
    Both rear shocks shot when I got back home. Suspension still stock std and it still had original shocks. I must say the Kgalagadi was actually not the worst...

    Lovely overlanding vehicles. I bought one in CT last year July for a trip to Nam and we had a blast.
    Travelled via Kgalagadi, Etosha, Sesfontein, Spitzkoppe, Sendelingsdrif, Richtersveld NP, down...
