    I had the same situation.

Not sure about the wording exactly.

I registered it on my name without a valid Road worthy certificate. This caused the papers to be in my name but not getting the...

  6. Grand Cherokee Re: 2012 3.6 Grand or 3.0CRD - Need Help to decide.

I like my 3.6. Alot. Would buy one again. Quick, solid and ok on fuel.

My dad has a CRD. I like his as well. The CRD is a bit quicker and alot stronger when towing.

    If you are going to...

Wrangler 4dr Re: Need Advice Please - New to 4x4 and Jeep

I prefer cooper ST Max for a dual purpose road and offroad. Less noisy than the others.

On that size you need wheel spacers. About R2000 from Zone. That 295 is closer to 34. Id rather go for 285...

Wrangler 4dr Re: Need Advice Please - New to 4x4 and Jeep

With Zone Offroad the saying rings very very true about you get what you pay for.

Be carefull comparing the zone stuff directly with chinese stuff from Autostyle. Zone has mostly Rugged Ridge/AEV...

Wrangler 4dr Re: Need Advice Please - New to 4x4 and Jeep

The tank green rubi looks quite nice.

The yellow Sahara as well. For the price, I would probably go for the Green Rubi. Only 16000km more and almost R100k cheaper.

Every JK should come with a...

Wrangler 4dr Re: Need Advice Please - New to 4x4 and Jeep

Sahara is plenty capable. I would still rate the Sahara above any bakkie by far.

The electronic diff lock (brake assist function) works excellent once you get to know it.

    Believe me, unless...

Wrangler 4dr Re: Need Advice Please - New to 4x4 and Jeep

    Dont buy the Rubi ontop.

No use having a nice Jeep and you cant use it. Youl need another R2k a month extra for fuel.

Buy a cheaper Sahara. Enjoy it and the lifestyle that comes with it. Sell...

Wrangler 4dr Re: Need Advice Please - New to 4x4 and Jeep

Just a bit of advice from experience:

The 35" tyres you mention is very big. Its not something you would want on your JK if you drive it everyday. 33" is a better size and still pretty big.

    If...

    All warrantees in place?
That gives you 5 years or 100 000km to not worry about repair costs.

Whatever is going to fail due to it standing so long will fail very soon after the purchase.

    Re: 285 vs 275 vs 265 on 2" lift

I went for the 285/70/17 Cooper ST Max.

Tyre was much calmer and still looked the part. I enjoyed it much more than the MTs.

I looked at the smaller sizes but it just didnt look well.
  17. Re: Anybody stayed at The Hatchery on the KZN coast recently?

    Interesting place and very unique.

No direct access to the beach. You need to drive around the lake/lagoon.

If the current draw is more than what the cable can handle it will melt so you put the fuse there to protect the cable. On 16mm cable 50amp is a good number....

    Brave man.

Make sure your garage is sound proof or far away from the main bedroom.

Those tyres makes enough noise to wake you up even when its standing still. :)
