    Its a 15% reduction in ah. You are going the run into issues quicker. (If the battery was the problem)

    Since the Jeep GC's are known to be sensitive to battery issues I would rather try and source...

    I forgot that one!

    Jeeps, especially the GC seems to be very sensitive to even the slightest voltage drop on their batteries, check it out.

    If your connections are as per post #38 sans the ignition wire then the unit should work.

    Remove the fridge and test, if it still blows the fuse then you might have a faulty unit or you might have...

    Is this the fuse that you've put in on the positive wire close to the battery? or the one on the charger?

    The positive wire could be damaged and is somehow making a short by touching the chassis....
