    Which year model did you test? As far as I understand, new facelift models is not using the old dual clutch box but rather a new torque converter box.

    This goes both ways, as Baobab owner, I envy the guys with the Miskruiers when towing and storing the Baobab but when we arrive at camp, I enjoy the space and immediate readiness (geyser, space etc)...

    The GX-R does have rear air-con vents in the second row as part of the center console as well as outlets at the feet.

    Had to made the same decision a few months back after owning 3xVX models since...

    Yes, your sensor placement wont protect the battery from boiling but still think the slow charging is mainly due to to the below:
    1) ctek cutting down due to high outside temp
    2) NL compressor...

    I see some of you state the lower voltage on the DS250 dropout is 13.1v? To my knowledge its 12.8v. Am I wrong?

    Eg when voltage from main batt and alternate reach 13.2v and above, DS250 will start...

    Locate your 250 dual and then trace the sensor cable from 250 to see where is the sensor. If possible, post a few pictures for us.

    Guys, just two points:
    1) with the latest Baobabs, you still have the geyser at the back when you have the inside basin. The basin is only impacting your inside packing space, not the geyser space....

    For me, it was not so much about the weight etc but rather the space inside.
    That said....i would also consider la Miskruier with a popup roof[emoji16]
