Also, the ODW products are overpriced. Go to Jacque at Bushpower in Midrand for good deals and service. Check bushpower.co.za

    Re: Battery Advice/Thoughts

Whichever (is that a word?) way these 4 batts are connected, only 20Ah will be available, and if depleted from full charge, will give max 4hrs at 5A.
    Experts to chip in please....

    Re: Battery Advice/Thoughts

    Hi Estee,
The info supplied is a bit insufficient.
Is it a 70W solar panel? The batt image is not clear. What is the Ah rating of the 6V battery?
Please also share the specs of the solar...

Re: Aux Battery and Alternator Output

Your battery spec states a Voltage of 14.4 to 14.8 for recharge etc. Pehaps measure the V at the aux battery poles with the engine running. It should give you an indication of what is delivered at...

    Re: Snomaster fridge and solar

Good idea if you have space for the large single panel. Also check that the controller can handle the panel's voltage and amps.

We have an Eezi-awn rtt. Has to be fully packed up for game drives. Not too much trouble. I see two options. Either a clam-shell type rtt which is really quick and easy or a fancy 'stilt' setup as I...

Re: What do you use your Hella plug point for?

Same here. For some reason they lose connection and become unrelliable. I only use two of these for led light connections in the canopy. Fridge, inverter and compressor are on Anderson plugs.

You can try Outdoor Warehouse as well for Lumeno products. Also Bushpower.co.za. Alterntively, local caravan shops also will reveal a staggering array of things you 'never know you needed'. Enjoy!

I don't think the pass will be a challenge. Be careful of maintaining momentum on deep sand closer to the coast. I know parties who spent a day or two stuck with a trailer.
