    Check the micro switch on the bonnet closure/lock mechanism.
    Have had mine replaced twice.
    Q20 also seems to help as it does not seem to like water.

    Will go visit Toyota tomorrow now that I have part numbers. When I spoke to my local dealership they did not know of any heavy duty springs.
