    on my previous treg, a BKS 2006 model when my 255/55/18 Grabbers were done, I changed to pirelli scorpion AT's which were 255/60/18.

    no problems, scorpions were much quieter than the grabbers.

    As part if the service did you change the diesel filter?

    if so when you put the new one in, it had to be brimming with diesel, otherwise air could have got trapped.

    If I was looking for a car, I would have done so. I always had a soft spot for this particular range rover.

    Seeing you drive a discovery 3 I believe the comfort level in on par with that, being a v6 petrol you will feel that it consumes more fuel.

    not as much boot space as a D3 and more car like that...

    I had a 2006 BKS V6 TDI and had the same problems: 1 & 3 as described.

    1. starter motor is the common consensus for the long crank problem- however, it needs to be the upgraded version 2.2kw....

    Most are opting for East Africa- Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania- less vias hassles and shorter flights from Europe.

    Southern Africa is considered Long haul which does have an effect when planning trips.
