Re: The 4xCommunity Beer find/rating Fred

I despise those Eichbaum beers. They all have the same base taste, like they made a single beer and flavoured it differently. Anyway, I discovered this:

    Re: Braaiing and Smoking

Tri-tip, also called Picanha, rump tail or rump cap, is part of the rump. It's literally the tip of the rump, typically too small to cut into consistent individual streaks and then sold as a whole...

    Re: Wheat

Would malted wheat work? Because if so, homebrew shops typically sell it on the cheap. Beerplus in Cape Town sells it by the 25kg bag: https://www.beerplus.co.za/product/wheat-pale-25kg/1695/161

    Re: Haval Resale value

Engine is strong, but it's also pretty heavy on fuel, as I have it. That's my big downside with these. The fuel economy does not match other modern 1.5T engines out there.

Re: Campsite pricing, where do you draw the line?

As soon as camping prices start approaching the price of a chalet or flat, I draw the line. Yes, I like camping, but a solid building is just more convenient. This is probably the main reason I...

I have no interest in using wild yeast, specifically because you don't know how much of the sugar it'll convert to alcohol. You also risk infections that'll turn your precious alcohol into vinegar,...
