Re: Touareg: which one NOT to get?

    Answer is, it depends...

What budget? For what type of usage? How enthusiastic is he about ownership?

Iíd say at minimal budget a 2009/2010 ĎT1Ď V6 TDI is not bad, air suspension or not, either...

Re: V6 TDI battling to start in the morning

Never found a code that works unfortunately. Only way to solve the issue is the starter motor replacement. Never had problems after that and it also massively extends battery life.

    Re: Another Touareg autobox story...

    1. Consumption is normal, if it smokes on idle, start thinking about new injectors or refurbed ones ex Germany as stated
    2. You can get those intake runner controls coded out. The VVT turbo does not...

  17. Re: New tendency: standing up while lane splitting

These guys stand because they think they look cool that way, no other reason. I commuted for 8 years, trust me, standing is a real bad idea when lane splitting. It has its place off-road, but thatís...

    Re: Touareg (7P) oil type

The oil leak likely has nothing to do with the oil that you put in itself, it is a common problem on the 7P, and probably why you neede to top up oil for starters. Expensive to fix too.

    Get that...

Re: Advice or help 2005 Treg V10 - surging

You are going to have to supply a lot more detail please. Good starting point is a VCDS scan to get the fault codes.
  34. Re: Touareg Air Supension Bellow Preventative Replacement

  35. Touareg Air Supension Bellow Preventative Replacement

As the Treg now has 230 000 km's and 12 years of pretty tough operation (towing, off-road etc.) decided it was a good idea to change the air bellows as a preventative measure. The workshop manual...
