    Old topic...I have a NL Aux battery box installed..correctly..

    I have a problem maintaining charge in the aux battery..NL tech said the voltage out of my alternator is too low...by about .6v....

    As long as the welding is done correctly I don't forsee a problem. I have done it before, no issue. I made a sleeve, so welded the axle then welds the sleeve in place..

    We used to load three bikes on our trailer..removing the wheels and clamping the fork. I found I still had too much movement..so used bike tie downs...never looked back..

    I recently bought a 2005 VX Petrol...what a great car. I found from full to green light on around 700 km. But as you say the second tank goes much quicker shows empty, no light on yet after 400 odd...

    Nice to know..I recently bought a 120 and tried to engage the diff lock..took 10 min...and then it engaged...with a thud... started engaging it more often and now its fine..so good advise.
