  1. Re: Protecting your vehicle from catching alight while travelling through grass

This IS a real risk at times.

We have never experienced actual ignition of grass under the vehicle, but have certainly accumulated plenty and needed to clear it out along the way.

    The net in...

Re: If only they were sharp.

I was also never taught this skill.
I use an oilstone to sharpen SWAMBO's kitchen knives and my own in my little workshop - but I guess not always that effectively.
Let's just say that they are...
  5. Re: RYOBI One Plus Cordless Range - Any good ?

Yes 18v is the way to go - MUCH better than the 12v versions.
DIY quality is fine for most - just don't expect industrial performance especially if working hard woods.

    Re: Circular Saw Technique

Nothing wrong with Ryobi DIY equipment for reasonably light work, softer woods. I've been using Ryobi for years with almost no problems.

  11. Hydrogen ? As general alternative & transition.

OK, This is not vehicle specific but would have its place I think.
Generally though it fits in as an alternative power source, income generator and offers employment opportunities.

    Re: Richtersberg Campsite under water

That kind of rainstorm is not usually predicted and is unexpected at that time of year.
