    T4A and Garmin Montana 650

Please help, I'm about to start throwing things around.

I recently downgraded my Garmin BaseCamp from version 4.7 to 4.6.2 so that I am able to view it with Google Earth. That works well.
    I have...

  4. Re: T4A and Google Maps on Garmin BaseCamp

Okay, I have figured it out:
First uninstall version 4.7 then reboot your PC
Install version 4.6.2 and then once installed go to View on the tab right at the top of Windows Explorer. Check the...
  5. Re: T4A and Google Maps on Garmin BaseCamp

I've downloaded and installed version 4.6.2.
When I try to do a restore of my data (routes, waypoints, etc), nothing is restored.
    Any ideas?
  6. T4A and Google Maps on Garmin BaseCamp

Does anyone have an idea how to load Google Maps or Google Earth on BaseCamp to view with T4A.
There are many posts of Google saying that the option has been disabled.
It would really help with the...

Re: First visit to Baviaans Kloof

I did Baviaanskloof about 10 days ago. If you aren't aware of it, there are no campsites or shops in the Baviaanskloof Reserve after the gate from Patensie.
Quite a few as you exit the gate and you...

Re: Old Postman Route Fenced Off.

Martin, the road turns to the right just after you have passed under the tree.
Perhaps you thought it was a kraal because the cows were on the road.

    Martin, just a question:
When you passed under the fallen tree, did you turn left or right?

Re: Old Postman Route Fenced Off.

I never encountered a gate of any sort. There was some activity on the farm. A worker with a sheep dog was herding some sheep into a kraal. We stopped and then drove on once the road was clear.
