Did you have to turnaround and drive back to Enjo? There are three rivers, the Tra Tra, Matjiesriver and the Doring. Enjo to Doring on the Mertenhof farm is about 5hrs taking in the sights.

I would be be surprised if the Doring is low enough to cross with all the recent rain and snow melt. One option is to start on the Tankwa side early, and one can view if the river is passable, if not...

The angle on the front prop is too acute and worse if you have a lift of 2" or more. Best way round this common problem on the WJ is to fit a double cardan prop.
