    Re: Sani Pass Condition Report

Have change. I paid with a R50, asked for my R10 back and was met with a flat stare. Decided to write it off as a contribution to social development.

Also have some cash for some Route SANI...

    Re: Recovery and spares kit

Lots of good advice so far.

I dislike Kinetic straps/ropes. So only carry 1.

I have a few winch extension straps 9T and 14T, 10m and 20m. I often travel solo so the extra length helps a lot as...

We stayed at Kosi Bay Ezemvelo accommodation earlier this year.

Ford & Mazda Re: What have you done on your New FORD RANGER T6?

    Refurbishing my front suspension entirely.

Started with new rack end and tie rod ends.

Then fitted a 50mm lift, EFS coil and Shock. XTR model.

Re: Water tank, filling and pump

I got a pump off takealot.

However, the best part is I can fill my tank from the same pipe that the...

    Re: Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park tour

I did a Zululand tour in May.

Mkhuze, St Lucia, Kosi, HiP, Sodwana.

8 days we had to play with.

I would of loved to squeeze in Western/Easter shores and Cape Vidal.

    Definitely no 4x4...

Absolutely agree. I run solenoid and a smart charger when 220v available.

    My solar is super basic.

100w flex panel, 10A Victron MPPT and a long cable.

    Park, connect solar.

    Disconnect solar drive.

    Easy like [emoji1787]
  31. Re: Dual battery recommendations. What to get? High vs Deep

Runs my ARB 47L and my Dometic CFX28 overnight. In fact for a full 24 hrs before I need to drive.
  32. Re: Dual battery recommendations. What to get? High vs Deep

Gets up to 100% on the NL monitor after a 2 to 3 hour drive. My alternator gives 3 to 4 green dots which is roughly 14.2v on NL monitor.

Downside is it discharges just as fast.

    But I've used it...
