  1. Appeal to notify T4A of changes on the ground

I've noticed, over the last few years, that the T4A maps are becoming more and more out of synch with what is actually on the ground. Interestingly, in the same period, OSM has made massive...

Changes made from version 4.80 to 5.10:

Fixed possible issue when disconnecting from a Bluetooth...
  3. Re: Garmin replacement GPS battery / "no spares" policy sucks

The montana takes 3 AA batteries or the garmin battery. Note that the polarity of the centre battery differs from the outside batteries.

Re: How would one build this?

Probably improved if you include the roof rack ;D

I don't have a FR rack, a friend does, pretty sure it's a few small drilled holes (which could be filled) to access the roll bar as the rack...

The places you travel to will dictate the gear but I definitely wouldn't say the air jack is more versatile. Hi lifts (real) are very expensive so look for a 2nd hand unit in good condition. Can...

    I'm thinking you want to

    * buy quality and buy once

    Re: What Garmin to chose?

Jelo it's a bit worse than that.

It's an android tablet but you cant add anything else, it's locked down to the garmin applets.

Updates are via wifi. You need to select the osm map tiles.

It's pathetic that the rep concluded that the rims were at fault without actually

    Re: Which Garmin GPS

Kenskind I agree with the above and I'm very happy with mine but the 276cx is no longer listed as an active product in the US so I doubt there'll be much firmware development in future.

Re: Jeep Commander Rear recovery point.

A loaded commander (say 2500kgs) would require a recovery of 3750 kgs (up to belly in sand) or 5000Kgs (up to the belly in mud) so the 7000 kg design spec seems a little light to me. Also, as stated...
