Re: New type of Gas Bottle Stand?

I was being nice. I like it.
I was also being honest. I trip over or kick things all the time. I wasn't trying to be nasty.

Re: New type of Gas Bottle Stand?

This is a very clever idea.
The only thing that came to mind was on a personal level. Even though I was born with feet and you would think I'd be used to them by now but I have not always got full...

    Discovery 2 door lock actuators?

    Hey folks.

So since I've had my landy, the passenger doors on the left don't unlock with the fob. I knew it was going to need to be sorted. But I wasn't in a rush. Recently, they don't lock...
  4. Re: New Defender : Can it be used for Overlanding?

Bruce, I recently discovered your IG account. A lot of inspiration for an oke like me with a landy that spends most of it's time in the garage.

    Peter, hoekom se jy so?
Ek stry nie, wil genuine weet want toe ek gekyk het, het ek aan myself gedink dat ander bande, soos n MT sal hom baie help en niks sal hom stop nie.

Poll: Re: Will you make this climb with your 4x4?

The more I see, the more I want to try.
I do worry about my departure angle, I'm lower than Henko and I'm on smaller wheels but I still want to try.

I'm going to come next year. Wild camping and...

Even the guys from Top Gear said the same thing, years ago.

[QUOTE=Byron;4767809]Maybe. The classic had a 20 year headstart though.

    We consistently get 10km/l.
On rare occasions when we do get to go down to Durban, it actually gets better on the highway. We've had our 2012 since 2016.

Re: Advice on engine swap for jeep wrangler

If thwre isn't anything wrong with the jeep, don't swap engines.

Re: Rust on rear axle after 2 weeks ownership

I'd take it back. Regardless of make, you pay a premium for a new vehicle these days. Toyota especially are perceived to hold their value and you pay for it when you buy one. New or second hand.

A colleague of mine received 105k for his 2.8 90 sw when he traded it in earlier this year. It was in beautiful condition.
I reckon he could have got a lot more if he'd sold privately.
