    Re: When are campsites opening?

    This still confuses me.

What documentation do you need to say I am going for a day drive to Dinokeng or I am playing a round of golf at Woodhill (not border crossing)?

    My work permit won't...

I agree. If I have to go in a convoy I will also not go.

I will do something like this as a break away weekend/holiday with my family.

    Re: Pongola to Sodwana Bay

Obviously very late on the thread but posting for future readers.

I go to Sodwana every year.

I won't ever travel the Jozini road. Not even when dry and sunny in a 4x4. You will get stuck in...

Re: Interesting Ranger 3.2 vs 2.0 BTdi tow test

Although not the 2.0 bi turbo, I can say there is a big difference between the 3.2 Ranger and the 2.0 single turbo Everest.

The Everest is +-600kg heavier which is a lot but it is slow compared...

Exactly. Not just because I own a Ford but if you fit it the wrong way because of ignorance, then it is your fault. I will look for the photo of where my tralie is connected to the cab. There is...

I wouldn't say we are seasoned visitors nor even seasoned campers.

  22. MediaRelease: Re: New Ford Everest Delivers Enhanced Design, Comfort and Performance

A lot of the Ford reps and one engineer did not even know.

Re: Fuel range / tank to empty

The fun is going to come with the "attempted to drive to empty" part.

Whilst it is a valid question, the guys are not for it due to possible damage to engine and fuel pump etc.

Ford & Mazda Re: Ford Kuga in action

Yup is the 2.5. Amazingly quick for a SUV but obviously at a price. Same fuel consumption as my 3.2 Ranger but boy is it fun to drive!

Will have a look for the videos if I can still find them....

    If it was not for...
