  2. Re: Its summer, time to start tearing my 7 apart, again..

My 7 is an early 7, the original doors have the extended handles unlike the recessed handles as in hein100's, the doors I cut up to make the half doors were the same vintage..

    Technically there is...
  3. Re: Its summer, time to start tearing my 7 apart, again..

Panel done, not great, but for now will do, I have enough vinyl left over to do this properly, a 2nd time...

  4. Re: Its summer, time to start tearing my 7 apart, again..

An all the clips in place, vinyl on, not great, I battled with the tight radii..
  5. Re: Its summer, time to start tearing my 7 apart, again..

These old jeeps have these weird offset doorcard clips, I made my way to ProAuto rubber in the east rand as they have a ton of options available, was able to find these weird steel clips that fit the...
  6. Re: Its summer, time to start tearing my 7 apart, again..

So in order to make the door cards, I made a quick template out of some card and then after confirming fit was ok I had to figure out how to transcribe the door clip holes to the template which had...

You're welcome, I tend to agree with your sentiment, but I am obviously biased...!!;)
  9. Re: Its summer, time to start tearing my 7 apart, again..

    Damn right its cold...

Blind the only thing in the wings for the 7 is coil conversion upfront, but I am currently suffering from procrastination fever, the last 6 months have been somewhat...

Re: Discovery V8 mysterious engine noise

Re: Discovery 4 side mirrors auto folding

This is the door mirror wiring schematic for my L405 Range Rover, I imagine the D4 would probably be identical in most ways, doubt there is anything more 'unique' on the Fattie from a mirror...

Re: Discovery 4 side mirrors auto folding

If you are unable to do this the correct way through the correct 'electronic' tooling, I would imagine that disconnecting the motor in question at the plug point would suffice, doubt that would throw...

Re: Is this price listing correct?

That was a very sought after limited edition with the solid wooden two tone lower dash, I'm surprised it is not being advertised for R70k minimum..

Re: Rangie v8 Supercharged or Diesel?

I had to, had little choice, I had goods to deliver and install that would not have fitted SWAMBO’s platkar, driving that road in the NP200 is a death wish, plus the ac is toast again, so the Fattie...

Re: Rangie v8 Supercharged or Diesel?

Yesterday I drove the SC Fattie from Edenvale to Rustenburg on the N4 for a business trip, which in my book is a pretty flat trip, no major climbs or elevation changes..
