    Re: Road rage...

I get rather upset, but would not get into a "out-of-car" argument.

The other day I was passenger in a car where the driver can't be more than 6' 8" and medium build (unarmed).
    A taxi nearly hit...

    Re: Coffee Bay

That is indeed the road leading into Hole-in-the-Wall, not Coffee Bay.
(Hole-in-the-Wall is one of my favourite places in the RSA).
We drove that exact road in the rain with a hired Yaris, and it...

    Re: Coffee Bay

From the N2 to Coffee bay the surfaced road has many potholes, some of them very large and deep.
If they drive slowly and carefully, they should be OK.

Re: Keeping cool in a tent - tips?

I have done a fair amount of camping.
My advice would be as follows:

If possible at all, pitch tent in full (day long shade).
if that is not possible, pitch tent to have afternoon shade.

    Re: Lowering EGT’s

    I'm not so sure.
A "better" exhaust system will scavenge the exhaust gasses better, but I am not so sure that it would have much of an effect on the EGTs.
A wrong air-fuel ratio will cause high...

I actually looked at this, and I think it can be done.
