Absolutely agree. Old school where I understand most of the workings. Not electronic gizmos hidden under plastic shrouds in the engine with computers that can only be analysed at the dealers. Not for...

    Re: Advice on generator

Go for the biggest you can. I've had the MacAfric 7Kw for about 10 years now and it runs pretty much the whole house. Okay, so maybe not the geyser and oven on at the same time, but handles either or...

  10. Re: Sticky Thread regarding most popular camp sites.

Not a bad idea Hunter, In my case I would narrow the search down to Northern Cape and pick out Kgalagadi quite quickly, instead of hunting through all the Sanparks camps.

Just had poly bushes fitted and all the joints on the front of my 80 done.

  12. Sticky Thread regarding most popular camp sites.

    Dear Admin,
How about including a sticky thread of the most popular camping venues.
I would say, SANPARKS for starters, or even break that down into some of their more popular sites.
    Spent a...

    Wow! Lucky you!
We sit outside just about every night till it gets dark and get quite excited when we see a bat.
I've even made a bat box, but without any visitors in the last 18 months :-\
