  7. Re: Prado 150 V6, 220,00km preventative maintenance

It still does not explain his statements.

I am actually over arguing on the forum, but such blatant misinformation must be ridiculed.

The WK2 has a R10k diff AND gearbox service every 100k. And...
  8. Re: Prado 150 V6, 220,00km preventative maintenance

I am amazed how far you drove in 3 months.

You broke engine and gearbox mountings every 60 000km so had to do at least 120 000km in 3 months, had to change diff oils at least 4 times.

    At least...
  9. Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee 3.6 Overland (WK2)

These days the parking lot at Bulli's workshop looks like a WK2 convention. I doubt there is an indy with more knowledge about the model than him - I would use him for preventative and normal...
  10. Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee 3.6 Overland (WK2)

    A mate bought a WK2 3.6 8-speed last week and did 700km this weekend. 10km/l.

Not driving like Miss Daisy that is seriously good fuel consumption.

    The law of unintended consequences.

The St Francis Links changed the sand cycle in St Francis and now Oyster Bay has dump trucks removing sand and the St Francis Channels has a feather of beach...

    Re: Mals next tjor.

I am slightly confused what you are looking for.

I understand that the 105/Patrol are natural competitors, but the LR's you mention are a different thing altogether.

  19. Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee 3.6 Overland (WK2)

It might only be a WK2 thing.
  20. Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee 3.6 Overland (WK2)

Most suspension problems are sorted with a 10c O-ring.
Engine mountings on the 3.6 are a problem.
Engine and gearbox and electronics seem reliable.

Grand Cherokee Re: OEM Rims - GC 2014 Overland

If you get R5k for the set you will be lucky.

There is no market for these rims.
  22. Re: Prado 150 V6, 220,00km preventative maintenance

The cruise control is CRAP - decat, 5W30 synthetic oil, water pump, right radiator fluid, front crank seal and you are ready to go.

Was that recovery done on your tow ball?

Re: Synthetic oil in Prado 120

I changed the oil in the Fortuner to 5W30 LiquiMoly Synthetic recently.
