Is the fault there permanently or just when starting up the car?
Any warning lights on with the fault?
Low battery voltage can cause a parkbrake fault warning to flash on startup.

There is a way to remove the Lock on the towbar. Pretty easy but top secret. You can get a replacement lock with 2 new keys, the kit is available from Land Rover.
IIRC it wasn't to expensive....
If the CV broke and you locked the centre diff and continued driving it it wouldn't have caused wind up because the broken cv can spin freely. Even if you didnt remove the front propshaft.
Ive...

Just note when remapping, they make alot of newtons... the power is limited on these cars due to the diffs not liking all the newtons. Iirc...

Anyone who has driven a Subaru Forester XT knows what a great sleeper that is. The looks on the guys face when a station wagon just leaves him and his golf 6 or Focus St at the line when the boxy...
Relatively peacefull, most likely. The 4.4 TDV8s is quite reliable. You do get the occasional turbo going out or an oil leak etc from them.
Rest of the car wise... they are still heavy...
Not mine, but saw this D4 yesterday with some pretty cool looking rear lights.
If anyone is looking for a Clean D4 V8... this is the one... 2010 with only 24k kms on the clock:o
Sounds horrible... not cool. Dont think anything will sound as good as the 5.0 Supercharged does
The Rover V8 is known for slipping liners, meaning with many heat cycles the cylinder block expands enough for the Cylinder liner to move downwards in the block, this also means the Headgasket...

Its not normal 3000rpm is to high.
On your driver side tappet cover you have 2 pcv Diaphragms. One usually has a tear in it that causes the high revving on startup.
Sold the D2:'(
R21 is a horrible road. I use other routes as far as possible. My one friend does the R21 daily to OR Tambo. He also replaces windscreen more or less every 6 months.
He also wrapped his new...
0.3% sulphur content which is 3000ppm.
From what i remember the D3s can run up to 3000 ppm content.
But seeing how the D3's goes through injectors and fuel pumps I wouldn't risk it. 6 injectors and some labour and you're close to...

The 2.2 feels more powerful than the...
So if this new V6 is the same one as fitted to the F150, its also the same motor that is used in the Discovery 4 with some minor changes... wonder if their cranks also snap?
The V8 has a more instant throttle response and feels like it has more torque.
The SCV6 on the other hand needs to be revved to extract the power and torque. The SCV6 isn't slow or lazy by any...
That rear bumper is for a D2, speak to Rob Keen from Bespoke 4x4. Maybe they have something for a D1.
Hes got a nice website with everything they stock on it with prices.
When the SI4 was released they had a recall on them because the software on the PCM wasn't correct, it had a very aggresive timing advance curve, which in turn caused detonation on the pistons and...
Put the D2 through its paces at Dewildt. Doesn't flex to bad. Now needs new 2X new engine mountings and a gearbox mounting.
