    Re: Solar power questions.

100W is more than enough to run a fridge for the day.

I have run a fridge AND a freezer in 40 degrees weather off 2x50W panels for the day, was cutting it very close though and the battery was...

Re: What have you done with your Isuzu today ?

There is a cable which supplies those two "reading lights" with constant power, I just tapped into that cable to power that USB module.

Re: What have you done with your Isuzu today ?

Had an inspiration wave and did some electrickery:

  13. Re: Excessive clatter of dieselpump or injectors when cold.

The correct grade of oil also plays an important role regarding engine clatter.

The user manual specifies 5W30 for the 300DTeq, I can imagine it's similar for the 250?

    Went from 15W40 (wrong!!)...

  15. Re: 2014 Isusu kb300 4x4 front wheel bearing replacement

Are they certain it's the wheel bearings?

Grabbing and wiggling the tire top and bottom and feeling play usually indicates worn kingpin or ball-joints.

    You're welcome!!

  18. Re: most beautiful route from Rehoboth to camping Klein Aus

It depends on how much time you have between Rehoboth and Aus.

Here's my recommendation, you should be able to make it in a day if you leave not too late in the morning.

    - Take the C24 towards...

    Re: Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10

Yes, VERY important to go for the LT spec. There are 2 different models, there's a 6PR and a 10PR (PR = ply rated). The LT spec tire is the 10PR one.

You can also check the load rating. The 10PR...

  23. Re: Colt 3.0 V6 4 x 4 Gear change problem.

The Colt has a hydraulic clutch.

Like the brake system if there is air in the system it wont work properly.

I'd recommend to have the clutch system bled, maybe even flushed.

    Hope this helps?

    Defender TD5 aircon gas?

  35. Re: Isuzu KB300 LX Troubles :( Advise needed (P0251)
