  1. Re: July 2019 CKGR with a caravan, Trip Report

Thanks for the fantastic report. I was there in April and stayed at many of the same campsites. To get to Motopi I took the northern road through Passarge Valley rather than the cutline. Seems like...

Re: Sekoma to Mabua Overnight Stop?

I camped on the cutline - just make sure you get through all the commercial farm land first.
  3. Re: Nata to Khama Rhino Sanctuary via Kubu in one day.

Yes, easily doable. I have done Kasane to Khama via Kubua in one day.

    Re: Game drives kwai

I think this was answered in the linked thread but for completeness the GPS co-ordinates of the office are 19.094945 South and 23.809437 East.

    Re: Game drives kwai

The condition of the transit road is good. Can do 60-80 km/hr. It took us less than half an hour to get to the game viewing roads along the Khwai.

Here are some pics of Khwai Safari so you know what to expect. The first two are the view form the campsite, 3rd is the ablutions and the 4th is the office.

    Hi Maile

It happened to me with our trip booked through you - we arrived at Mbudi only to be redirected to Khwai Safari Grounds. It was not a major issue but it would have been good to know in...

Re: Central Kalahari April 2019 Trip Report

Thanks for the feedback - I think you're probably right that I was overly harsh about Motopi. I typically write my reports during the trip so everything is fresh. I think my opinion on Motopi was...

Re: Best place to camp in Khwai

I second this request. I will be staying at Mbudi in June and I think that in the past I have under-explored the area through simple ignorance. I'd love to get hold of a decent map (other than T4A).
