Discovery 2: Re: Key Fob and coding

Most Landy places sell the blank key and fob holder.
I got a fob off EBay, popped it into my already cut new key and got it coded with a Nanocom.
If you get a used fob, be sure that the 6 digit...

    Re: soud deadening/isolation

There are a few "tar based" types around.
Some come sliding off the panel with the vehicle out in the sun, let alone at operating temperatures, others don't.

    Be careful what you buy.

Discovery 2: Re: Build and assembly of 4.6L V8

As far as I understand it, the 3rd row of bolts was deleted after the SD1 and all subsequent engines are 2 rows.

    Re: License to Tow

I had Ratel, Buffel and Samil 20 on my license and they decided the Ratel was not eligible to convert, so I got the Unimog/Samil 20 equivalent at the time which was Code 10, now EC1.

Not familiar with the far North, but SHAW4X4 at 30 Stella Cove, Montagu Gardens would be a good choice in my book.

Also look at Duram 195, available at any hardware shop.
Brushable, durable and not eye wateringly expensive.
