Re: Ranger WLT erratic cut out

Glowplugs and rev counter are also part of immobiliser system. If you hot wire a 2.5WL , the rev counter and glow plugs still doesn't work until you fix the fault. Mostly it is the black box with...

Re: Ranger WLT erratic cut out

The fuel solenoid is the only part that can cause the engine to cut out. It is part of the immobiliser wiring, so a fault there can cause problems with the solenoid. If the immobiliser is by passed,...

If ign was off the whole time yes, but there is also a BCM (body control unit) that is activated the moment a door open. Both of them stay activated for a few minutes when the ign is switched off.

    Re: Voltage drain

Before doing a battery drain test, you should wait at least 10 minutes for the PCM to go to sleep mode. If the bonnet have a switch, you must bridge it as well.

    Remove the alternator fuse(150A)...

Re: weird noises when bakkie is in motion

It could be a little stone that got stuck between the brake disc and calliper. Jack up each wheel and turn it by hand. You should hear the noise.

Re: What causes a MAF sensor to fail?

Plesier Wildkyker. Die "hot wire" MAF sensor gebruik 12v om die sensor draad warm te maak tot omtrent 180deg c. As jou lesing korrek was, dan sal 27v daardie draad oor verhit en dit sal uitbrand.

It is 30mV. There is also a picture of a battery, which normally indicates a battery low condition.

Re: 06 Hardbody Zd30 engine fitting trick????

Are sides hafts resting on the lower control arms? If so, then you must remove the two bolts holding the lower control arms to the chassis. With the sway bar removed ,the diff should drop right down.

Remove the two brackets of the sway bar. It is preventing the diff to go further down.

Jack the front section of the gearbox up as high as it can go. That will give you more clearance.

To test the sensor is easy if you have the equipment. You need...
