    Defender Re: Defender inligting benodig

Reenen, maak vir jou twee "degree wheels" , ou CD werk lekker. Sit een op input shaft en een op output shaft. Merk zeros en draai input shaft 1 omwenteling. Kyk hoeveel output shaft gedraai het en...

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

I like a full floating axle as well, but the jury seems to be out as to which one is better. Both Toyota and Nissan have used both on the Cruisers and Patrols and there don't seem to be a real...

    Re: 150kw Hilux

In my opinion you compare on price, because that is the deciding factor for most people. If that means you put a 2.0 against a 3.0l because the price is the same, then so be it.

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

Yeah to me it looks a bit too much like an old Defender. Be that as it may. I am more interested in the mechanicals which sounds fantastic. Also I hope they have better ergonomics than the old...

Defender Re: Defender td5 brakes fading

Etienne , Iwould first off check for play on front wheel bearings. Then check for a bulging brake line under pressure. Then start looking at the expensive stuff. Come to think of it, since its all...

Never owned, but yeah have driven them. Very nice, no question, but so is a Disco V6 diesel.

The OP asked for choice between LR and Pajero though.

    Re: Amarok built by Ford

The old Taro's are still running all over Greece. That was a straight VW badged Hilux. VW did not contribute anything but the badges. I still don't understand the reasoning.

    Re: Amarok built by Ford

There biggest mistake was not putting an auto box in the 2.2 diesel. The Avensis , especially in diesel was a wonderful car, but cried for an auto. The petrol auto was woeful.

    Nissan Qashqai surprise

I grew up with Nissans in the SSS, 1200. 120Y, Skyline era. My first car was a Pulsar 1400 of the humming drive train variety which served me very well since I drove the hell out of it. I then had a...

    Re: Amarok built by Ford

For me, the problem is not reliability. It's a matter of why buy the Amarok if it is a mix and match and the Ranger is a full blooded Ford? It makes as much (little?) sense as the new BT50, or the...
