    I had the brakes checked and adjusted just 2 weeks ago while getting it through roadworthy. It was done by Getaway Trailers in East London.

    I have just phoned Kempton Caravans who used to do the"Nomad" off road conversion on the Scout.

    They were very help full and told me that the brakes should disengage automatically when reversing....
