    I think these CXís are very under rated. The interiors are way above some of the others in its class, and those engines are magic - complying with EU emissions etc without turbos and other trickery.

    If fitted to an empty rack, would a deflector not simply cause turbulence and increased drag directly behind it? (Obviously it will be dependent on the design of the rack and deflector)

    AFAIK one may not substitute minimum wage for accommodation/food/etc.
    Lets see what others say. I would personally draw up a contract where you charge him rent, for the same amount that you pay him...

    Are you sure the 30deg cooler than ambient is correct?

    This is nothing new. Geothermal heating/cooling has been used for a while in the US and EU.

    Iím sure a similar setup would work locally.

    It is as safe/unsafe as any other bakkie from 10-15 years ago.
    The T6 Ranger was the first bakkie to receive a high NCAP rating.

    Silicone is fairly stable at increased temperatures, so heat is not effective.

    Silicone remover is the best bet, otherwise acetone and a blade.
