I can't really tell a difference but then I don't have a canopy, I run a rack on the load bay...

    Re: Snorkel or not?

I bought a 4x4 Direct snorkel from Brackenfell also. Was a decent price and had 4xLux next door fit it for me.

Been on for just under 3 yrs, so far so good. No problems. I will recommend them....

Re: Struggling to start after head gasket fix

Thanks, i don't really like the electronic gauge though. Wanting to pillar mount it like my EGT.

Seems though that you all agree that a coolant temp is a must.

Car had a lot of blow by before head was done. Got some images of the inside of the cylinders. They were honed before I owned the car, pretty deep scratches. I think that probably didn't help the...

I am waiting for them to let me know what the issue is. Had a call with them yesterday and they seem convinced that this is normal. My mate that owns 4xLux in Brackenfell says it's probably fuel rail...

Struggling to start after head gasket fix

    Anybody wanting to know costs:

    25mm spacers: R70 each x 12 = R840
HT bolts, nuts and washers: R200 odd.

No that would be a "T3" I think. First gen up to 2002. Then "T4" 2002 to 2006.

T5 is 2007 to 2011and know also as a PJ Ranger and face lift is a PK Ranger.
