    Check the mounting bolts for the leaf springs. Mine failed twice. Later BL models might have had bigger bolts fitted.

    That's what we do. Very effective. We use those small cheap Chinese stainless steel bowls - easy to move around when you move your chair, and doesn't leave coals/ash around the campsite.

    I had similar symptoms on my 3.2 Triton, which occurred erratically at low revs. Eventually diagnosed as faulty MAF sensor.
    This can be easily tested by just disconnecting it - the symptom goes away.

    The replacement bolts are M16 x 100mm galv 8.8 bolts. 60mm shank, 40mm thread.
    Original were M12.
    Anyone with the 12mm bolts should seriously consider upgrading.
