    Re: Toyota dash switches

The easiest is to wire a relay that is triggered by the brights. Then simply pull up to the gate/door and flash your lights.

Re: How will you bend a 22mm alu pipe.

That is not really a bend, more of a curve. I would suggest finding someone with a roller and roll that curve into it. Anything else is going to create a very uneven curve. This is what you need. ...

Re: Long range tank problems LC 76 wagon

The last long range tank I saw installed, they removed the upper rails (77133 & 77134 in the diagram above) as well as the straps. The tank was then mounted using the same holes as the upper rails,...

    Canon 5D lens?

I am on the hunt for a lens for my 5D. Wide angle with a bit of zoom, something like a 24-105.

Anyone have something like this they are willing to part with? Needs to be full frame.

Yes, I have done it before and yes, is is HARD work!

Unfortunately I found that it was the clear coat that created the problem in the first place. Once moisture or salty air finds a pinprick chip...

    Re: Wrangler Crank shaft sensor

That is on the end of the cam, so I would say Cam Position Sensor.

IIRC the cam position sensor is on the back of the motor, left hand side, below the exhaust manifold.

  16. Re: Touareg - dash lights up but engine doesn't swing

The best way to isolate the problem is to check whether you have power going to the starter when it doesn't want to swing. i.e. hook up a multimeter black probe to GND and red probe to the fat...

If you don't have a multimeter, just use any 12v globe. Connect one terminal of the globe directly to the chassis, then connect one of the 2 wires you are questioning to the other globe terminal.
