Actually saw 3 spotted at our campsite, but one was a regular. Last trip in 2013 only saw brown hyena but then we stayed at Khiding.

It was the spotted hyena.. cheeky and even came by in the morning with the smell of bacon.
For those going to Mabuasehube via Sekoma and then along the cutline - corrugations are terrible, sand not so bad. Watch out for hyenas at Lesholoago campsite, one close to the waterhole.. apparently...
