    Discovery 2: Re: D2 repair

I don't want to hijack what is actually a rather useful thread but Rob, once upon a time you had one of the most beautiful D2s in my opinion. It still sticks in my head as to how a D2 shoud look.
  2. Re: Vioolsdrift breaks record: hottest day in Africa...ever

She is right, nothing in legislation for maximum that I can find. It only specifies minimum temps. Our site is 60km from Springbok and everybody was burned to a crisp last week.

Re: Media Releases - South Africa and Australia

Firstly, full disclosure. I don't own a metallian trailer or any other trailer. Its been one of those 'want to haves' that hasn't happened yet.
I am also blissfully ignorant when it comes to...

Re: Grenadier.... What do we know about it?

According to their website, it is a permanent 4wd, selectable low range and locking diffs.

@Jelo, I tend to agree. Somebody who works with their 4wd on a daily basis has a lot of insight into...

This is a very interesting thread. I will be subscribing because I have been wondering the same thing. For me, a second toy type 4x4 is probably the only thing within my budget. I know of an XJ going...

  14. Re: Are the EB license requirements killing the camping industry?

I did my licence in 2002. I had no idea that it had changed and neither did my folks.

The photo doesn't show which route the Amarok took to get into a recovery position. But, more importantly, I learnt that the most important 4x4 accessory is the nut holding the steering wheel.

He is very attached to the original Dirty Thirty and I can relate. I too am overly sentimental with vehicles....

Well done on a great diy project. It would have taken me six months of trial and error and it probably would still not have come out so neat. You can be proud. Thanks for sharing.
