    Many years ago when I got my Mecer setup, bother Mecer and Geewiz suggested I set the charge rate to 10a only.
    Sadly I cannot remember why but it sounded very plausible at...

    Fluffy will be along shortly with the formula, but sadly there are far too many variables for this to be accurate.
    Wire diameter, panel design, battery condition etc

    Panel to controller, to battery , to inverter. Battery to lights
    Sit back and relax.

    Mine the same with LED lights and also longer than 4 hours. Never actually switched off ?
    Ps the Bushower Eco kit is charging that perfectly.

    Friend from Eskom brought a fancy machine to test a fridge of mine 10 years ago.
    It registered 9 times the stated wattage for a millisecond or so.
    My inverter could stand that for a few...

    Thanks guys, I can pull door open and closed after pulling the rope. Just a hassle after 2 spine fusions.
    Just trying to make life easier.

    Back from Mall, few months ago the battery was R98 , today R200 !!
    Back to drawing boards.....remove battery from another project to make up 2.
    They had no lugs either....time to try AC/ DC...

    Ta, put a shelf up to carry the 2 x 7ah. Now just to get a 2nd battery at the Chinese shop then wire up..pity those 1.3 thingys have such tiny lugs. Have to cut wires and solder on bigger lugs.

    My system has 2 small batteries , 12v 1.3ah each but only opens the door once during load sheds.
    Will it help if I use my 2 12v 7ah batteries to give me a few more openings.
