Re: So who is going camping this weekend?

I never knew that there was a campsite there, at the end of the promenade, right on the beach. Went for a visit through town last month. One of the gem towns on the West Coast! Bonus is that there...

    Re: Totai Stove any good?

Ok, I did not know that the gas cutoff was 220V. Kinda defeats the object of being independent of Eskom wise in this country. I have an Elba which does not have this problem.

  4. Poll: Re: Diesel v Petrol , Yip another one. but wait, hear me out.

The vehicle make and model probably has a lot to do with it here. Again, my experience with rocks is diesel - the low down diesel torque for similar engine size wins in my book. Throw automatic vs...
  5. Poll: Re: Diesel v Petrol , Yip another one. but wait, hear me out.

Same with Land Rovers - DSC needs to be switched off.

I voted for diesel on the poll, thinking that this was offroad 4x4 driving, not realising that this was dune driving. My vote needs to change...

    I agree with "Why wait?"

Do the deed earlier, and take her on honeymoon to the above suggested places.

You will not regret going either ARB or VIAIR. I went with the ARB twin because of it's higher capacity than VIAIR for my big camper tyres. My tank and control module is VIAIR. My backup...

Re: 160L compressor for my vehicle

I would not use the cheap R300 for a backup - I would not trust it on big tyres in 40 degrees heat, not even for one tyre. If you are fit, the foot pump is probably a safer bet. I had a similar one...

    Re: BARLOW WADLEY for sale

I agree with Keith. You can advertise it on some of the HAM clubs, like HARC, PARC and SARL - you might get a collector there - many are hoarders and collectors, but also bargain hunters.
