  1. Re: Mwachumeni And Niavasha Camps operated by Shangani Safaris

You will only know very close to the time if you are able to cross the rivers at that time of year. My suggestion, if you are the booking type, go via Beit Bridge.

Re: Elephants dying in huge numbers ?

Peter, as much as we all love elephants this is a natural phenomenon. We would be foolish to try and intervene - whenever we do there are always greater repercussions further down the road.

That would be my choice too. Another alternative is to head further south and cut across the road through Phinda. There is no charge, so you get a free game drive, although there will be sign-in...

So let me get this straight - after less than a year in production the 4 cylinder diesel engines in the Defender are making way for the 6 cylinder units?

  13. Re: campingsites FOR hwange - MANA POOLS JULY / AUG 2021

    Great.

From Jhb I'd head straight north through Beit Bridge. Stop at Great Zimbabwe ruins and then on to Mana via Harare.

After Mana if you are dead set on the ferry then so be it, but you...

When do you go to Tuli block, before or after Hwange? Your original post is muddled, we don't know in what order you plan to do your trip.

Give us an idea and we can assist you.

My front diff was replaced under warranty/recall a few years back, no issue with delays. It was done in a couple of days. Grips is on the money, Covid is playing havoc with supply chains.
