    Wild guess is that the ctek does indeed pull Amps from the main battery until the main battery voltage reaches the cut off voltage probably around 12.7 V. Should not be a problem.

    2009 Hilux Manual ( the brakes size was increased on the 2009 with the 16" tyres)

    Still original disc. Pads last on average 60k
    Km , rear shoes was replaced at 100k km with plenty...

    Agree but I also don't think the Ferrodo , ATE or safe line replacements are unsafe, they might not last as long or perform as well under hars driving conditions. I have only replaced brake pads...

    I always check for the stamp. When I once pointed out that he didn't stamp I was met with aggression.
