No, the actuator that is behind the cover in the bottom door, but that activates with the door handle :)
Good morning all.
I am looking for the top actuator for the rear door of a 2011 Disco 4.
LP4A will (maybe) only have stock end of February.
Thanks
I had the battery tested. 100%. So I need to have the alternator checked
Exactly what mine is doing. However when putting the battery on a charger, it struggled to take charge. Having it tested this morning, as I bought the battery in April.
Not sure if a dodgy battery...
Can a loose battery clamp cause this issue?
Hi all. I am getting the Charge System Failure on the D4.
How can I test the alternator?
Also, I see mention of Hi-Tech in Centurion. Do they still exist?
Hi @jeffg, who did you use to fix the alternator? I might need to follow the same route
I am having the same issue now with my 2011 D4.
Apart from being the alternator, can it be something else?
We pressed out the old bushes. Was quite a challenge with the smaller bushes due to the shapes and angels of the control arm
Done and dusted. All lower control arm bushes and ball joints replaced. What a job!!
Did that, and LR themselves gave me two part number. I knew what it looked like, so was able to visually select the right ones
Replaced all the front lower control arm bushes and ball joints. Was quite a job, but all done 8 hours later
Hi allI have a 2011 Disco 4 SDv6 S. I believe there are two different Sideshaft nuts ... how would I know which one is the right one (if visual inspection is not possible)? Thanks
Source please man?
Hydraulic press shouldn't be a problem luckily, I hope :)
Thanks for the links
This is the part list I got on the quote

Good morning guys,
During my last service, it was indicated that the Control Arm Bushes on the Disco 4 is worn, and needs to be replaced.
Can anyone tell me the parts list for this replacement...
I am having the same issue on my D4 :( Pads and sensors replaced, but the warning lights stay on
Thanks Champ!
Well, not Centurion exactly, but that's neither here nor there.
Anyone one have contact details, apart from phone? As you might have noticed, I am sitting in meetings, and can't phone currently :)
Interesting ... the two indies that always popped up for post-plan services were Landyworx and Independent 4X4.
Thanks @Hedgehog :)
Marlene and Neo, no response. All email addresses copied directly from their website
Forwarded the same mail to Rolf and info a couple of minutes ago.
If I don't get a...
Firstly, "You're" ;)
Secondly, they bore me :)
Since I am in meetings ... so yes, it is easier to type out a quick message, like now, than to excuse myself from a meeting and phoning for personal business.
Also, if you provide contact details...
LOL, same two I tried, with no response :)
Nope
Good morning all
Is Independent 4X4 still in operation?
Getting no joy from sending them emails.
Seems to be a similar issue ... I got the idea from the guys who've had this issue on the D3 ... I just had to find the right fuse ... D3 is fuse 59 if I remember correctly.
However it is a damn...
Sorted. Switch vehicle on, pull fuse 64 in the fuse box behind the cubby, put fuse back.
QED
Hi all.
So wife phoned me today, stating the D4 doesn't want to start, just nothing happens. She eventually locked and unlocked, and then it started.
I got home almost 2 hours later, and noticed...
You quoted my Post? Looking for seats?
@BiganDaft?
Cool :)
Hey @Bosvark Kzn. I have two Puma Jump seats available, if that's what you are looking for?
You too?!
