    Re: Anderson Plug Crimping Tool

I've also had failures from soldered joints, which I did in my early days before I bought crimping tools. The best tip I picked up from this forum many moons ago was using a ferule for Anderson...

If you stay at Eagles View, you will have to drop past and say hi - I'm only about 5km from there. I will only be back in the last week of this month though from CT

I alsways deflated to about 1.8b with my Defender. It is a debatable subject though as when you deflate, you expose your sidewall more.

Re: 160L compressor for my vehicle

I would not use the cheap R300 for a backup - I would not trust it on big tyres in 40 degrees heat, not even for one tyre. If you are fit, the foot pump is probably a safer bet. I had a similar one...

    Re: BARLOW WADLEY for sale

I agree with Keith. You can advertise it on some of the HAM clubs, like HARC, PARC and SARL - you might get a collector there - many are hoarders and collectors, but also bargain hunters.

    Re: Unacceptable behavior if true

About 2.5 times what SADC are charged, and over 4 times what citizens are charged. You can argue that this evens out buying power. I've never been comfortable with "dual" rates.
