Mine was R1 074 about 5 days ago in the western Cape.
Nice "friend".

Yes, I know that.
We saw them in this area and thought it might be their borrow.
Not worth it, you never know what can stay behind in the cylinder.
I've been here before, you are hearing advice that you don't want to follow and you have good reasons for this, but if it goes...
I doubt it.
It's not like extracting a bolt, which is a solid thing.
That glow plug is carboned up.
The removals I've seen is:
Remove head
Drill out as much as possible of glow plug....
No, I'm not that rich and now she hinted last night that another one will be a great Christmas present.:o
I'll go for plan C: Remove the head.
Thanks.
All of them is a great find for us. We never expected any of these animals.
The Caracal is amazing but we knew that they are here, the Muskeljaatkat was more of an surprise.
Yes it's a...
Never expected to so lucky.
But we suspected that something lives in the bush next to the camera.
We setup the trail camera about 3 weeks ago.
It was set for operation between 16:00 to 07:00.
We're quite happy with our find:

Don't worry, the system was designed for this and it did it's job.
Most probably sand.
You live in the cape, that's full of sand.
Dirt road, Atlantis dunes or near the beach.
Somewhere some sand got in the vicinity of your filler cap or dipstick.
You checked...
Yes, with one prop shaft removed and at lowish speed.

Well then you are very lucky to catch it before it went south.
I'm sure that it opened. It's sometimes hard to get a good look.

Mine has always done this and I have replaced the original thermostat with a new Waxstat 2 years ago.
Nothing changed except that the new one makes my engine run 2°C hotter, from 88°C to 90°C.
Pinhole?
Mine takes about 10k's, open road at 90km/h, before I'm at 89°C if it helps.
Downhill mine has always dropped it's temperature.
This guy is from NZ.

Learn from others.
But you can maybe try Garyfrank on the forum.
The two brands that is best known/quality is Dinitrol and Tectol.
That's the only ones I have used and trust.
AAD Leiland in CT if they still exist.
When I phoned LR years ago they told me to phone them.
Not possible in my opinion, you'll have to strip.
These guys did it for Australia, you check out their other videos for more information, it should be very similar.

This is basically how I have done mine twice now.
I'll just monitor the insides from now on.

Thanks.
In the UK you can find them, here it will be a problem.
The fittings are type 21, it's like airline fittings just smaller.

You can always look at this kit:
My stuff is made for this job and I "inherited" it from an old oomie.
The first one is the thickest. 8mm OD
655598
It sprays forwards and sideways.
The second one is 6mm OD and only...
On the Kalahari I've done it twice.
But I will only monitor it from now on.
I used a hard but flexible pipe, about maximum 8mm OD.
The nozzle sprays forward but also sideways 360°.
It's a bit...
Maybe this will help:

Didn't think a Td5 pump would fit an 300Tdi.
I watched this video quite a while ago, but saw the "Argentina" on the block.
Watched it again and asked Mike about the crankshaft.
He said they should have forged steel crankshafts and that it...
Just want some information from other Kalahari owners:
On the L/H front side of the engine (passenger side) is there written "Argentina"
Apparently it's a Maxion engine, which apparently has a...
Test the switch.
I would also test if the diff lock works, even if the switch is faulty.
I would stick with the manual's recommendations.
