  1. Re: Advice which to get Mitsubishi Outlander or Subaru Forester

There's a nice looking 2011 Forester in the classifieds.
  2. Series II Re: Series 2a Lambda sensor and weber 34ich carb adjustment.

    @FEI

I just want to say I opened this thread only out of novelty value - a sort of "this has gotta be good!" sadistic streak to see who was thinking that a Series 2a would have a lambda sensor...

I nearly took this car home from Centurion Mall today. Does it perhaps belong to someone here? It's the splitting image of my Fugard, who was parked just a few cars down the row :-)652772652773

    Re: Defender 110 300TDi Costs

Reading all of the above, I'm excited already on Estee's behalf!

    However, a word of caution.

The engine, together with related cooling system and lubrication system, are critical if you don't...

    Re: Defender 110 300TDi Costs

The most expensive bit is probably fixing everyone else's mechanical shortcuts or discovering them when far from civilisation.

That and doing the motor if it fails.

    Basic maintenance is...

Re: Route from JHB to Clarens

I did this route December 2021, up to Heilbron and it was fine. Nice drive actually. I also seem to remember Bethlehem to Clarens was OK.

I decided to go from Heilbron to Lindley since I had a...
  8. Re: Covid tests and other info when flying to Uganga

I'll answer my own questions after today's experience. Perhaps it will help someone.

Covid PCR test was done at Lancet in the morning, got the certificate emailed that same afternoon. Printed out...
  9. Covid tests and other info when flying to Uganga

    Hi everyone

Some of the questions I have are googlable - so perhaps I shouldn't just be asking here. But the Covid situation changes so rapidly - I would appreciate comments of anyone with some...

    Re: 300TDI replacement motor.

Acrotek brings in imported Landy engines and gearboxes. Not in your part of the country, but they do courier. I've never bought an engine from them, but did buy an import auto box which is still...
  11. Dead and dismembered Canon SX540 free to a good home

I dropped my Canon SX540 while shooting sunrise photos (fell off a wall from whence I was controlling it remotely). As is typical of this type of camera, the lens tube took the hit and no longer...

Re: Canon M50 - anyone has one?

My other choice is the 250D or maybe 800/850D. My daughter has a 200D which is great.

I don't need features, but I do need as much manual control as I can get.

I don't need the high speed video...
