    have Hangkooks on both Landies 33x12.5x15 and 35x12.5x15 and never had a problem with them off road or on, will probably use them again
    only down side is the side wall is convex so can get damaged...

    If I am correct it is not a problem to run on older engines, but old cooking oil you need to get the glycerin out and filtered to remove the crap in it as well

    Also looking at it the same way you going and looking at the Sunsynk 8KV and maybe go with the Alpha 10.1KWh battery which is 90%DOD 8000 cycles 200AH and 0.5C

    to me is worth it then...

    Aluminum is the only way to go with a float level sensor, no more worries of cracking

    EGT I run upto 700 no problem 725 for short stint like overtaking above that will start to course damage, but cruising it sits at 450-600
    water the TD5 can get upto 105-110
    Oil 1 bar is ok for low...

    The Unimog had a separate leaver to engage the dog gear for front prop to engage so it could be 2H or 2L as you had to put into L to use reverse gear, if wanted 4x4 just engage 4x4 leaver
